Description

We cannot change the mess the world is in without a change of consciousness. He repeats: “You must stop seeing God as separate from you, and you as separate from each other”. You may like this book mainly because it tells us, as the title suggests, how God converses with us through our intuitions and feelings. But more important than discovering God, this book is about finding ourselves. The author uses wisdom from great philosophers and presents it to us in a simple palatable manner. The first thing which came to my mind after reading the part related to God is my favorite Sanskrit word Tathwamasi, which means Thou art you (That is you). It is coming in the Samaveda- in the Chandogya Upanishad. This is a complex Advaita Vedānta which means that God and you are the same, just like what the Sanskrit word, Aham Brahmasmi means. Walsh is telling a similar concept to us. I think it will be easier for us to understand this book if we have read Vedas. Book 1 ( PG.4) argues that words are not the ultimate truth; instead, words are symbols and are open to interpretations. Thus the readers are advised to consult their inner knowing or intuition to determine their truth while reading the book or any other book. Though the books bear the title Conversations with God and the author states in book one that he is "taking dictation" from God, the dialogue is said to be between God and all people at all times. The question, according to Neale, is not to who does God talk, but who listens. This is clarified by the statement that God can communicate with people in many ways (the next song you hear, the next sunset you experience, the next time you hear laughter, the next movie that moves you), and not necessarily through words 'spoken' by God to a person. "All these devices are mine. All these avenues are open to me. I will speak to you if you invite me." ( Book 1, PG 58). The book then explores, in brand new and deeply insightful writing from Neale, what each of the 25 concepts means...spiritually, metaphysically, psychologically, and practically. Then, at the end of each chapter, Neale offers solid suggestions on how each concept can be applied to every day life. This is a perfect insider's guide to the most important series of spiritual books in the past 50 years. For a free sample of the first seven chapters, simply go to www.WhatGodSaidbook.com But from the cosmic viewpoint (the realm of the Absolute, of Gods), killings don’t matter. From the cosmic viewpoint, fish is being eaten by a bigger fish, fire is breaking into a forest and claiming lives, stars are colliding against each other and new nebulas are born, and humans are killing one another. Do you see where we stand then? Cosmically, it is all okay!

God tells us that we “have always been, are now, and always will be”. He created everything and all of us “ALL AT ONCE, and All of It exists right now”. The concept of old souls has nothing to do with these actually being “older” than others. It has to do with the level of awareness of a particular soul. It was God’s will that Hitler have free choice to do what he wanted, but not His will that he be punished “unceasingly, unendingly”. The biggest mistake people make in human relationships is to be concerned for what the other is wanting, being, doing, or having. Be concerned only for the Self.” Other than the remembrance of the topic covered in the first two books, this book goes into more depth explaining what happens after death as well as how highly evolved beings(HEB) live their lives. The inclusion of his wedding vow was a nice personal touch. Applications for Living from Conversations With God (compilation of three books; Relationships, Holistic Living, and Abundance and Right Livelihood) (November 4, 1999) ISBN 978-0-34076-833-4I had no desire to throw it and I hung in there till the end ! However , for me the jury is still out . Yeah I know , I gave it three stars , but I had to give it something , didn't I ? I will say this much ( despite my hating Lisa's books ).... Jesus is said to have said, "without the Father (God), I am nothing". The Father of all is pure thought, the energy of life ( Book 3, Chapter 11, PG. 180). We are told that we may return to the One and experience the loss of our individual Self whenever it pleases us. And so, we seek what is not there, for everything we seek to find in life must have been placed there by us. If we have not placed it, we cannot find it. What we do not place into life, we do not find, because we are the Only Source There Is. The author's view about the health care system and discrimination is an important topic that needs discussion. But the author dismally somehow walks into impetuous misleading territories with his invective views at the end.

So, I came to realize, when reading this book, that Walsch likes sex, lots of sex, and he wrote how we should never feel guilty about sex but should have sex with anyone and everyone we liked. And so he had sex with another woman other than his wife and got caught. But, hey, that is okay because there is no right and wrong. His wife wanted the experience of being hurt. Please, please...open your heart. All we need is to come to Jesus and ask honestly, without being judgmental or cynical, to come to our heart, and said that we want to know Him better. No one has ever died for you and me like Him!! His blood had paid the price of all sins!!God and Neale have a conversation about the Catholic Church, about how committing venial sins sent one to Purgatory and how an unbaptized child went to Limbo. We are regaled with what is pointed out about the ridiculousness of the injunctions of the Catholic Church. I received a forward this morning that appears to have been going around for at least 4 years telling me to “Be Aware of This Book” Similar to this hoax notice at BreakTheChain.org

Conversations With God: The Movie opened in U.S. theaters in 2006 on October 27 and in Canada on November 10. The film was released on DVD in February 2007. [4] Clips of the film can be found on YouTube. [5] The key to life and understanding : we have to believe first, then comes the understanding. But if we think that faith to God is stale...we'll never get the true understanding. Just like relationships won't work when we have no trust. For the same reason, most of them have been depicted living simply. Those who have a high level of understanding bring their bodily desires into balance with their minds and souls.” If we cannot find forgiveness in our lives, it is because we have not placed it there. If we cannot find compassion in our lives, it is because we have not placed it there. If we cannot find tolerance in our lives, it is because we have not placed it there. If we cannot find mercy in our lives, it is because we have not placed it there. If we cannot find peace in our lives, it is because we have not placed it there. If we cannot find acceptance in our lives, it is because we have not placed it there. And if we cannot find love in our lives, it is because we have not placed it there. So, I will recommend this book for only those who are able to question every damn thing in their head (all their own judgements of people, your own likes and dislikes), and are able to question everybody in their lives! If you are in a place of —— “I really don’t know anything” (as I was when I read it, and which is really the case in truth), you are ready for the book! This book is what it is. It doesn't force you into anything; it doesn't promote a new religion or following. It is not the right way. It is not the wrong way. It simply is. Only by fear are people offended - but to me the logic is sound and pure and the truth really is a beautiful thing. This book is the third part in a three-part series. The first book focuses on some major issues humanity is facing today in their personal lives, spirituality, and how they function in today's world. The second book goes into a bit more detail, and this third book goes into more detail about more specific things like (don't laugh) life on other planets, more highly evolved beings (HEB's), and how we are treating our bodies and our environment. Everyone can learn something by reading this book (or the other 2). You really should start by reading the first in the series. Where God and Medicine Meet: A conversation between a doctor and a spiritual messenger (November 2016) ISBN 978-1-93790-748-8 God always gives us what is best for us. He is the Light and “the darkness that creates the Light, and makes it possible”. He is “the Goodness Without End, and the ‘Badness’ which makes the ‘Goodness’ good.” He cannot experience any part of His Self without experiencing all of his Self.

So wherein the Hitler-points are helpful is to help transcend words and see what REALLY is happening past any thought——it is a dance of cosmos, the Gods, the realm of pure absolute Love/ consciousness. This absolutely doesn’t state that you promote such atrocities. This portion of the novel is not to provide a different code of ethics about how to move about the world!
