The texture of all the Bourjois Chocolate Bronzing Powders is like silk, and blending and layering is easy. I missed the hype big time on this though, because at the same time of its release, I had purchased Benefit's Hoola Bronzer and that was me sorted on the bronzer front! It’s not good if you want something to contour with, but it’s a good affordable bronzer to add warmth and an amazing smell.

On warm-medium to tanned skin, it either do nothing or leave very subtle contour effect unless you apply it heavily. Have you ever heard or read about a product being possibly discontinued and then gone into a complete frenzy trying to find it? I’m not too sure when and why I stopped using it, but it was most likely because my mum forced me to go on a diet and the smell made me want cake every morning. Due to this, the product can be used as a bronzer to warm up the skin and also as a contour product for sculpting the face as it pretty much has a matte finish to it. You'll probably have noticed that too from the lack of reviews of those particular products on the blog.Firstly, other than it looking like a bar of chocolate, I didn't pick up on the scent of chocolate that a lot of people seem to love this product for. This is a matte warm toned bronzer that is " filled with glits of sunshine" - their words, not mine. There are always 3 for 2 offers on in Boots and I was picking up some products to try from Bourjois when I couldn't settle on a third and final product.

Im not sure if these are getting discontinued but I think I saw a couple of these at the Target at Broadway. Initially I thought this bronzer was matte, as they do look matte in the packaging, but this does have a slight sparkle to it. After months of speculation - and of course the near-empty counters that have not escaped notice - it has been confirmed that Bourjois are pulling out of the UK. I am not completely blown away by this bronzer despite it being highly raved in the beauty community. The original was very matte, with that amazing chocolate scent and a great alternative to NARS Laguna.

W e do have bronzers, but there aren't many to choose from and most of them come from high-end brands. to Try (7) baby (20) Back to basics (2) blogging (6) Blush (59) Celebrity (2) contour (11) DIY (19) Eye Makeup (88) eyeshadow (74) Fashion (2) FOTD (103) foundation (29) Friday's letters (9) Hair (40) How to. Upon application there was quite a bit of fallout and it wasn't the greatest to blend either, I did end up having to blend this out with some of my Rimmel Stay Matte Powder. Here's how it compares to my other favourite matte product, Benefit Hoola, which is my HD product for contouring. The bronzer is soft to the touch but the texture is really nice, it isn't too soft or overly powdery. Although I am looking for a more grayisch/taupe one because that might suit my very pale skintone better when conturing.
